Termite Control

Coastal termite treatment for a villa

A coastal villa with active mud tubes and damaged skirting received a combined baiting and corrective treatment plan.

BeforeAfter

A coastal villa with active mud tubes and damaged skirting received a combined baiting and corrective treatment plan.

The villa owner noticed blistering paint and hollow-sounding skirting near an exterior wall exposed to heavy rain and garden irrigation. The assessment confirmed active termite movement from an exterior moisture-prone edge into several timber elements.

PestControl.lk carried out corrective treatment in the affected sections and installed monitored points around the perimeter where the colony pressure was highest. The owner also corrected drainage and removed timber contact with soil around the building.

By the follow-up period, live activity had dropped sharply and the property moved into a monitoring-based protection plan. The client chose to continue periodic termite checks because of the coastal location and timber finish profile.
